In this Inquiry Cycle students have formed companies and are learning what roles people in companies have in the real world. parents, relatives and people who work in the fields are visiting to share their knowledge with our students.
Each company is required to complete set tasks. These tasks have included;
fill out registration forms and cheques to register a company
assign company roles- e.g. CEO, CFO, Company secretary, Sales manager, Sales rep, Supply manager,
Keep financial records
create a wiki page
write and issue a prospectus
find share holders who are willing to invest real money( $10 per shareholder- a maximum of 3 shareholders)
survey prospective customers to determine what would be the best seedlings/plants to sell
